Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong exposure to industrial IoT (IIoT) environments| particularly HiveMQ and HighByte Intelligence Hub.
The resource will support deployment| automation| configuration| monitoring| and operational reliability of edge-to-cloud solutions connecting manufacturing/OT systems with enterprise and cloud platforms.
The role requires a good combination of DevOps| cloud/container technologies| MQTT infrastructure| HighByte| and OT/IT integration.

Key Responsibilities
Design| deploy| configure| automate| and maintain DevOps infrastructure supporting IIoT applications.
Deploy and administer HiveMQ MQTT broker environments| including configuration| monitoring| troubleshooting| security| and scalability.
Deploy and manage HighByte Intelligence Hub and associated industrial data pipelines.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and configuration-management/automation tools such as Ansible.
Containerize workloads using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
Support edge-to-cloud data pipelines connecting PLC| SCADA| MES| historian| ERP| and cloud systems.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial connectivity using MQTT| OPC UA| REST APIs| TCP/IP| and related protocols.Implement monitoring| logging| alerting| and observability for infrastructure| MQTT brokers| edge applications| and data pipelines.
Work with engineering teams to improve availability| performance| security| scalability| and deployment consistency.
Troubleshoot infrastructure| networking| certificate| authentication| connectivity| and data-flow issues across OT| edge| and cloud environments.
Implement DevSecOps practices covering access management| secrets| certificates| vulnerability management| and secure deployments.

Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with HiveMQ| including MQTT broker deployment/configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub| ideally installation| configuration| deployment| upgrades| and operational support.
Strong understanding of MQTT architecture| topics| publishers/subscribers| QoS| connectivity| and security.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD experience using Jenkins| Azure DevOps| GitHub Actions| or equivalent.
Infrastructure automation using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Understanding of industrial/OT connectivity| particularly OPC UA and MQTT.
Experience supporting highly available| secure| production-grade environments.

Good-to-Have
SkillsAzure IoT Hub / Event Hub

Experience: 5 years of overall DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure experience| with demonstrable hands-on exposure to MQTT/IIoT platforms.
Direct experience with HiveMQ and/or HighByte Intelligence Hub should receive strong preference.
