Surgical Services/Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

We are seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our surgical team. If you are passionate about providing quality patient care and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• CST Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Note: May occasionally need to float to HOPD (ASC) on the same campus. Call required approximately 4-5 days per month, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons in various procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain a sterile field and prepare necessary supplies and equipment.
• Perform clerical tasks such as managing patient electronic health records.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with department standards and regulations.

Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military training as a scrub tech
• Required certifications: BLS and Surgical Technician Certification (TS-C, CST, or NRST)

Skills & Knowledge:

• General knowledge of surgical tools and procedures
• Understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
