Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Duration: 13-week
Guaranteed Hours: 48/wk.

Work Schedule: Nights 7:00 PM To 7:00 AM

Pay rate: $45.00/hr - $50/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Skills:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, health conditions, and changes in physical or mental status.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, age-related conditions, and other healthcare needs.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine skin assessments.
• Document nursing assessments, medication administration, treatments, and resident progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, CNAs, medication aides, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and updating individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents for falls, infections, pain, and other potential complications, reporting concerns promptly.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene, as needed.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency response protocols.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care needs and changes in condition, within the scope of practice.
• Supervise and coordinate with nursing assistants as appropriate to maintain resident safety and quality of care.
