Heavy Industrial - Welder

Job Description: Perform TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipes. Weld couplings onto pipes and assemble pipe sections through precision pipe to pipe welding.

Must haves:
3-5 years welding and fabrication background-candidate must hit the ground running with no training
Must be able to read tape measure
Good communication and teamwork

Perform specialty welding tasks on:
Spool pieces, Pipes, etc.
All welds will be Tig.-Nice to have would be MIG welding
Weld outlets onto carbon steel pipe.
Inspect work for defects,
Alignment of fittings
Check for bad seems splits in pipe.
Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to all the safety and quality standards.
Report all equipment malfunctions, safety issues that requires repairs.
General reading and writing as well as some computer skills. (all training is on online in workday.

This position is required to have a weld test performed during the interview. Please bring welding hood and PPE to perform weld test.
Weld test/interviews are a minimum of 2 hours on site.
Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm not required to clock out for lunch unless they leave the building.
