Tact Tech Event Staff

Job Summary
The Event Staff is responsible for providing professional security and crowd management services at assigned events for Tact Tech Security Solutions. This role ensures the safety of attendees, protection of property, and smooth execution of event operations in accordance with company policies and client expectations. Event Staff serve as frontline representatives of Tact Tech, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment while responding effectively to incidents and emergencies.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined, vigilant professional who demonstrates sound judgment, remains calm under pressure, and consistently upholds the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service in a dynamic security environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Operations & Crowd Management

• Monitor and manage crowds to ensure safety and adherence to event rules.

• Conduct regular patrols of event premises and maintain visibility throughout the venue.

• Control access points, check credentials, and verify attendee entry as required.

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disruptions in a professional manner.

• Follow event-specific post orders, protocols, and company guidelines.

Safety & Security Enforcement

• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other unsafe activities.

• Observe, report, and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.

• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of company-issued equipment.

Customer Service & Client Relations

• Serve as a professional and courteous representative of Tact Tech Security Solutions.

• Address attendee questions, concerns, or conflicts diplomatically.

• Support client satisfaction by providing reliable, visible, and responsive service.

Compliance & Reporting

• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to security operations.

• Complete all required documentation, including incident reports and event logs as required.

• Report operational issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with event supervisors regarding staffing and operational needs.

• Ensure accurate reporting of hours worked and adherence to schedules.

• Participate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings as required.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or crowd management roles.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• A valid Security Guard D license.

• A valid Florida driver’s license.

Preferred

• Prior experience in event security, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.

• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or related safety training.

• Experience working with large crowds or high-profile events.
