Corza Construction is seeking an experienced, dependable, and versatile Multi-Trade Skilled Construction Laborer for commercial construction projects in Austin and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multiple construction trades, can safely operate light and heavy construction equipment, and is capable of performing various jobsite responsibilities independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Painting: Perform interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, patching, and finishing.
- Concrete: Perform formwork, pouring, leveling, finishing, and general concrete work.
- Demolition: Perform selective and general demolition using hand tools and power equipment.
- Acoustical Ceilings: Install suspended ceiling grids and acoustical ceiling tiles.
- Framing: Perform metal and wood framing, including basic drywall installation.
- Masonry: Perform CMU block, brick, stone, and mortar work.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, skid steers, backhoes, excavators, aerial lifts, and other light and heavy construction equipment.
- Truck & Trailer: Drive pickup trucks with trailers to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform general construction, material handling, jobsite preparation, and cleanup.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety training card required.
- Experience in multiple construction trades.
- Experience operating light and heavy construction equipment.
- Experience driving trucks with trailers, including backing up, hitching, and securing loads.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow instructions.
- Experience using construction hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must complete employment eligibility verification, including E-Verify.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work at different project locations throughout Austin/Central Texas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial construction.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety training card.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or heavy equipment operator training and certifications.
- Experience operating and transporting construction machinery.
- Ability to perform multiple construction trades with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read basic construction plans and specifications.
Pay: Based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
