Responsibilities

• Operate railcar mover equipment to transport railcars to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient railcar movements.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of railcar movements and equipment usage.
• Assist in loading and unloading railcars as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• DOT Certified
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in rail operations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in rail operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
