Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks while ensuring software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, expertise in test automation, API testing, performance testing, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. The SDET will work closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to build high-quality, reliable, and scalable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Develop automated tests for Web, API, Mobile, and Database applications.
• Participate in software design reviews and provide quality feedback.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and system testing.
• Execute API, database, and performance testing.
• Review code and ensure testability of applications.
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers during feature implementation.
• Improve test automation coverage and execution efficiency.
• Prepare automation reports and testing documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
