Location: Ogden, UT. On-site Monday through Friday

Summary
The Launch Industrial Engineer is responsible for advancing product manufacturing operations by optimizing processes, planning capacity, supporting automation, and leading new product industrialization efforts.
This role specifically assists with new Automation Cell implementations - Fanuc robots, Keyence Vision systems, etc.
Candidates will have background in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics / Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering (Automation CapEx related improvement projects).
 
Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead or point person for small automated line projects ($250k and less)
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
• Working directly with the site team to implement new solutions. Then perform transition to the site team to sign off on the project.
• Experience with the following:
  • High speed / High output manufacturing
  • Automation line or automation cell implementations (CapEx project)
  • Fanuc robots (Allen Bradley PLC) - or other brands of robot / co-bots
  • Keyence vision systems - or other brands of vision systems
  • basic programming skills needed
  • Project Engineering in automation environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience delivering production processes that consistently achieve target cost, quality, and volume while producing defect-free parts.
• Solid understanding of airbag assembly processes.
• This role requires travel and participation in global meetings.
