Mobile Test Engineer / Mobile QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mobile Test Engineer responsible for testing mobile applications across Android and iOS devices. The role involves functional, automation, API, regression, integration, compatibility, usability, and performance testing to ensure high-quality mobile releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data for mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
• Test applications on different Android/iOS versions, devices, and screen sizes.
• Validate UI, navigation, gestures, notifications, permissions, and device features.
• Perform mobile application automation testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Appium or similar frameworks.
• Perform API testing using Postman/REST Assured.
• Validate mobile-to-backend integration.
• Test application behavior under different network conditions such as Wi-Fi, 4G/5G, slow/intermittent networks, and offline mode.
• Perform installation, upgrade, uninstall, and application-data validation.
• Test application performance, memory consumption, CPU usage, battery usage, and startup time.
• Validate crash handling and analyze application logs.
• Execute regression suites before releases.
• Report and track defects using JIRA/ALM.
• Perform defect retesting and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD-based automated test execution.
