Surgical Services/Surgical Support Aide

• Pay Rate: $13.64 $17.64 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Nights, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (5x8 Hours)

This is a Surgical Support Aide role based at the Main Campus (Surgical Process Lead) in Cleveland, OH. The position operates on a night shift schedule and requires hands-on involvement in surgical services support, including patient transport, room turnover, and heavy lifting.

• Lift and transport heavy items as required by the surgical services environment
• Transport patients as needed
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures

• High school diploma or GED required
• AHA BLS certification or client-accepted BLS certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)

• 1 year of Surgical Support Tech I experience, OR 2 years of experience as a Lead
• 1 full year of customer service experience required

• Requires lifting heavy items
• Requires transporting patients
• Requires cleaning and turning over surgical rooms
• For orientation (first three weeks of contract), travelers will be asked to work 1st shift, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM, to become familiar with the unit
