Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Hostess to be the face of our establishment during our busiest hours. This role is primarily focused on greeting guests and managing the floor, but the ideal candidate is versatile and comfortable stepping behind the bar to assist with bartending duties as required. You will also play a key role in supporting our special distillery events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service
2. Educate customers on who we are, our spirits and our cocktails
3. Learn, memorize and execute cocktails, technique and presentation
4. Strong communication with team members to ensure accurate, efficient service
5. Diligently conduct transactions from ringing in drinks, to bottle sales, to properly handling cash
6. Assist with a range of opening and closing activities and event set up tasks
7. Contribute to new cocktail menu development
8. Attend staff meetings and trainings
9. Maintain a positive, respectful, upbeat attitude
10. Build the brand and get customers to come back again

Qualifications

1. Beverage experience required. While we are a craft cocktail bar, we'll transform beer and shot bartenders and baristas into talented craft cocktail bartenders.
2. Experience with BOH prep and other cocktail ingredients a plus.
3. Willingness to learn, contribute to a team environment and desire to grow professionally.
4. Infectious personality with a passion for our spirits and our story
5. Honesty and respect for yourself, the craft and the business is paramount.
