Contract Details- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $12.43 $16.43 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Night (5x8 Hours), 10:00 PM 6:30 AM (3rd Shift)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
This is a Surgical Support Aide role based at the Main Campus, supporting surgical services on the 3rd shift (nights). The position involves lifting heavy items, transporting patients, and cleaning/turning over rooms. For orientation covering the first three weeks of the contract travelers will be asked to work 1st shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM) to get familiar with the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Lift and transport heavy items as required by the role
- Transport patients within the surgical services area
- Clean and turn over rooms between procedures
- Customer service skills sufficient to meet a minimum of 1 full year of customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 full year of customer service experience required
- Requires lifting heavy items
- Requires transporting patients
- Requires cleaning and turning over rooms
- COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)
- For orientation and the first three weeks of the contract, travelers will be required to work 1st shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM) to get familiar with the unit before transitioning to the assigned night shift schedule.
