Mandatory Experience:

• Lab Histo Tech
• 1 year of experience
• BLS
• Registry as Histology Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent
• Experience with LIS and HIS computer systems, tissue processor, embedding center, automatic stainer, automated coverslipper, analytic balance, automated microtome, microwave, microscope, telephone, tissue floatation bath, volumetric glassware, cryostat and recycler
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
