Job Summary

This position involves the inspection of parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments and gauges as primary inspection tools. Training will be conducted on the first shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and analyze data as required by work instructions, Inspection Test Masters, and specifications.
• Conduct developmental, first-run production, in-process, and final inspections.
• Perform visual inspections under a microscope.
• Prepare rejection tags and note deviations from specifications regarding dimensions, finishes, materials, processes, or quality.
• Approve acceptable parts by stamping or other means and complete necessary paperwork.
• Perform data entry and analysis.
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Extremely detail-oriented individual.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications.
• Possess problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficient with computers.
• Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.
