Surgical Services/CVOR Tech

CST DAYS
**Must be able to scrub cardiothoracic and vascular cases - strong skills in endovascular and open vascular cases.
Scrub experience in Vascular and cardiovascular, vascular hybrid experience, open heart cases
13 Weeks
Local OK - Same Rate
First Time traveler ok
Monday through Friday case coverage, on call shifts required, holiday on call as needed, weekend on call shifts, department closed but potential on call requirement for (Federal Holidays 11/11/27, 11/26/26, 11/27/26, 12/24/26, 12/25/26, 1/1/27, 1/18/27)

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills & Abilities:
1. Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a minimum of 2 years of operating Room (OR) experience, or minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Technician in Operating Room.
2. Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification preferred.
3. BLS Required.
4. Able to function during stressful situations.
5. Will be required to rotate shifts as needed, work weekends and take call.
6. Physical requirements:
a. visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable;
b. ability to hear (with or without aides)
c. ability to orally communicate
d. good manual dexterity
e. ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally
f. ability to stand, walk frequently
g. ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel frequently; and
h. ability to perform CPR
