Lab Technician / Assistant I

Location: 1910 East Innovation Park Drive, Tucson, AZ, 85755Salary Range: $20/Hr. on W2Introduction

This position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion. The role involves supporting laboratory experiments and research activities, preparing lab materials and samples for testing, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting with data collection and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience with equipment maintenance.
• Experience with hand tools.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field).
• Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.
• 2–5 years of experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred.
