Data Architect

Job Description:
1. 3 to 5 years of total Snowflake architecture
2. Snowflake Data Modeling, Integration Patterns, Enterprise Data Architecture
3. Platform Design: Architect scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and data sharing patterns using Snowflake features

4. May be some user access control, warehouse tuning, cost tracking and governance.
5. Platform Management- configure and maintain virtual warehouses, database objects and environment scalability.

Need strong end to end snowflake architecture experience. Needs enterprise level experience with snowflake administration and security including platform management, role design, access control, monitoring and governance. Would like hands on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI. Would like Snowflake to Power BI Integration.

• Enterprise Snowflake architecture and platform design
• Security, RBAC, data governance, and environment strategy
• Data modeling, dimensional modeling, and integration architecture
• Performance tuning, warehouse optimization, monitoring, and cost governance
• Snowflake-to-Power BI architecture and analytics integration
• Snowflake AI/Cortex and system Integration experience
• Ability to lead architecture decisions, standards, and technical direction
• Strong stakeholder engagement and enterprise solution design experience

Job Description
Client is divesting one of their brands and needs someone to help lead architecture and design discussions and provide technical direction, rather than primarily work as an ETL or data engineer.

For this role, we are looking for a Snowflake Architect with broader platform and solution architecture experience. The person should have strong knowledge of:
• Snowflake architecture, security, RBAC, and environment design
• Data modeling, integration patterns, and enterprise data architecture
• Performance, warehouse sizing, monitoring, and cost optimization
• Good working knowledge of Power BI and its integration with Snowflake

Power BI is not the primary focus, but the candidate should understand how Snowflake supports downstream reporting and analytics.

They are looking for someone who can lead architecture and design discussions and provide technical direction, rather than primarily work as an ETL or data engineer.
