·         Maintain good laboratory hygiene and safety practices and support routine instrument care, calibration checks, and readiness of commonly used lab equipment.

·         Support laboratory inventory, materials/sample organization, and general lab readiness so testing can proceed efficiently.

·         Provide clear, timely progress updates and work collaboratively with the formulation team; perform other related laboratory duties as assigned.

Required education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certificate, Associate degree, or coursework in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Chemical Technology, or a related field preferred. A college degree is not required if the candidate has relevant hands-on laboratory experience.

Top 5 required skills:

1.       Hands-on laboratory experience with the ability to work independently and safely in a formulation/R&D lab environment.

2.       Ability to perform and document basic physicochemical testing, including pH and viscosity measurements, using standard laboratory equipment.

3.       Strong organization and multitasking skills to manage a high volume of stability studies, sample pulls, measurements, and deadlines concurrently.

4.       Accurate data recording and attention to detail; able to recognize changes, deviations, or potential out-of-specification results and escalate promptly.

5.       Strong communication and collaboration skills to support 4-5 formulators at a time, provide timely status updates, and respond proactively to lab priorities.

Technology proficiencies:

·         Experience with electronic lab records, SAP, or PLM is a plus.

Preferred attributes:

1-2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in consumer products, home care, personal care, or a related formulation environment; prior stability testing experience; familiarity with good laboratory practices, sample traceability, and instrument calibration checks; quick learner who is dependable, collaborative, flexible, and attentive to day-to-day lab needs.
