AI Application Production Support Engineer

 Introduction

The Platform Support Engineer is responsible for the operational support, platform administration, observability, and automation of the Orchestra GenAI Gateway infrastructure and supporting platform components. This role focuses on maintaining platform health, monitoring pipelines, infrastructure services, deployment processes, and environment stability across multiple regions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Platform Support, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience implementing and supporting monitoring solutions including Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and enterprise logging platforms.
• Experience supporting cloud and container platforms including OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates, DNS, and API integrations.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, application, and performance-related issues.
• Understanding of observability, logging, tracing, alerting, and capacity management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise GenAI or AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Azure AI, LLM operations, vector databases, and AI observability.
• Experience implementing self-healing and auto-remediation workflows.
• Exposure to ServiceNow, Remedy, and enterprise workflow management tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Understanding of security, compliance, vulnerability management, and enterprise risk controls.
• Financial services industry experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work closely with DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to manage platform services, automate operational processes, implement monitoring solutions, and maintain high availability for GenAI workloads.
• Identify possible production failure scenarios, create incident tickets, enhancements and/or problem tickets in ticket tracking system, and communicate effectively with development and internal business operations teams.
• Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services.
• Create and enhance administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, adopting best practice guidelines, standards and procedures.
• Take ownership of escalations and perform troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution using advanced query and programming skills.
• Perform analytical, technical, and administrative work in planning, installing, designing, and supporting new and existing equipment and software under moderate supervision.
• Resolve issues and consult with end users to determine optimal configuration of equipment and applications.
