Title :                valves Assembler / Mechanical Assembler
Location:          Pasadena, TX  77507
Duration:          0-12 months
Shift:                Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate:         $25 - $30/hr
 
Job Duties

• Assembling valves from components
• Calibrating valves
• Stainless steel tubing installation and bending
• Reading technical drawings and assembly documentation
• Pressure testing and hydro testing (preferred but not required)
• Troubleshooting and repair of valve components
• Disassembling and assembling Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
• Lapping valve seats and discs
• Calibrating set pressures
• Performing seat leakage and set pressure testing
• Understanding API standards and pressure relief valve operation
• Control valve assembly and repair
• Stainless steel tubing installation and bending
• Actuator and positioner setup
• Hydro testing and pressure testing
• Valve calibration and troubleshooting
• Reading P&IDs and assembly drawings
• Becker valve assembly
• Stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation
• Leak testing and troubleshooting
• Mechanical assembly and repair

 
Qualifications

• 2+ years of valve assembly experience.
• Experience with stainless steel tubing installation and bending.
• Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Mechanical Aptitude – Strong understanding of valve components, assembly techniques, and repair processes.
• Quality-Focused Mindset – Commitment to precision and compliance with testing and calibration standards.
• Safety Awareness – Consistently follows procedures when working with pressurized equipment and critical safety devices.
