Strivector s premier client, a well-known market leader in their space, is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a M/E Engineer 2, Mission Critical, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Generate, issue, and execute commissioning plans for assigned projects.
• Lead mechanical/electrical coordination processes.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings and submittals.
• Participate in all phases of construction from startup through closeout.
• Develop mechanical/electrical system schedules and sequencing requirements.
• Perform site inspections and constructability reviews.
• Provide budgetary M/E estimates and support preconstruction activities.
• Review mechanical and electrical options and complete systems analysis.
• Participate in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Review design documents and identify potential quality and constructability issues.
• Participate in the commissioning process, including pre-functional checklists and functional testing.
• Represent the company professionally with project teams and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate M/E Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal M/E Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of construction and/or engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction management means and methods.
• Experience with commissioning, inspections, constructability reviews, and submittals.
• Proficiency in MS Office and M/E construction tools and software.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
Minimum Experience: 2 years of construction and/or engineering experience
