Dietary Assistant

As a vital member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for our residents.

As a Dietary Assistant, you will assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines, deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas, and follow portion control and sanitation procedures. You will also clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware, assist with food storage and inventory rotation, provide snacks and hydration as directed, and support special dietary needs and resident preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware

• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
