Available Shifts & Pay

1st Shift: $20.00 /hour

• Monday - Thursday
• 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: $21.50 /hour

• Monday - Thursday
• 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Important: Overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays may be mandatory when production is running.

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Experienced Forklift Operators for a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Orrville.

You'll safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products, keep production lines supplied, and assist with hands-on production tasks.

At least one year of recent forklift operating experience is required.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys operating equipment, takes safety seriously, and doesn't mind stepping off the forklift to help keep production moving.

What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts to transport, move, and stack materials
• Complete forklift safety inspections before operation
• Supply production lines with materials and move finished goods
• Assist with packaging, sealing, and stacking products
• Support automated production areas and material flow
• Restack materials and help maintain organized work areas
• Assist with production cleanouts and inventory counts
• Perform general housekeeping and production-support duties
• Follow all equipment and workplace safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year of recent forklift operating experience REQUIRED
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in a busy manufacturing environment
• Comfortable performing hands-on production and warehouse tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Ability to climb ladders as needed
• Comfortable working in dusty environments and varying temperatures
• Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness
• Availability for mandatory overtime, including weekends, when required
