Position: Industrial Motor Design Engineer
Location: Irvine CA

Job Detail:

• Supports the department s Subject Mater Expert (SME) in the sizing, design, mechanical drawings and testing of electric motors operating at speeds up to 70,000 rpm used in our fans, pumps and compressors.
• Performs electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analysis using simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Creates detailed CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Develops motor performance specifications and validation test plans. Conducts performance testing (efficiency, torque, speed, thermal, vibration, noise).
• Analyzes and optimize motor efficiency.
• Bachelor s degree (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and motor design principles
• Understanding of winding techniques, lamination stacks, magnets, and insulation systems
