Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 5 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery, as well as IMC/Progressive/General care populations. ICU experience with adult populations is required. Basic arrhythmia experience is required. Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties. CRRT-Nextstage competency is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Epic experience is required; experience within the past 12 months is preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed. High-acuity population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation. Some holidays. 4x12s may be accepted if the traveler is interested.

Floating Requirements: Will float across critical care settings including Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac/CV/CT ICU, MSICU, and IMC-Progressive units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
