Reach Truck Operator / Shipping & Receiving Agent

Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience

About the Position

Connect Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator / Shipping & Receiving Agent for an established logistics and warehouse distribution facility in North Houston.

This hands-on position combines electric reach truck operation with shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and general warehouse responsibilities. Candidates must have previous experience operating an electric reach truck similar to the equipment pictured.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an electric reach truck to move, retrieve, and stage warehouse materials.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Receive merchandise and verify quantities, product information, and condition against warehouse documentation.

• Accurately pick, organize, and stage orders for shipment.

• Identify and report damaged products, shortages, and shipment discrepancies.

• Assist with inventory checks and maintain organized storage areas.

• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.

• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• Perform physical warehouse duties, including heavy lifting, as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience operating an electric reach truck.

• Shipping and receiving experience, including loading and unloading.

• Ability to safely maneuver equipment and handle materials in warehouse aisles.

• Attention to detail when checking products, quantities, and shipment documentation.

• Ability to speak and communicate in English to understand work instructions and communicate safety concerns.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with seasonal temperature changes.

• Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and a strong commitment to safety.
