Forklift Operator - $23/hr

Join a dynamic team as a Forklift Operator, where you will contribute to one of the world's leading agricultural companies. Operate forklifts to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a minimum of two years of forklift experience and the ability to read, write, and speak English. Responsibilities

• Operate forklift professionally and accident-free, maintaining precise records of inspections.
• Perform systematic maintenance and cleaning of forklifts.
• Continuously track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, including sampling, inventory, and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles during the seed delivery and return season.
• Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.

Skills

• Minimum two years of forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Self-starting with a high focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with others.
• Forklift driving experience and warehouse experience are highly preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish set goals.
• Prior forklift certification is preferred.
• Mechanical ability, aptitude, or awareness is helpful.
• Ability to count accurately when moving inventory and read scales.
• Ability to work in confined spaces with a forklift.

This is a Contract position based out of York, NE.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
