Bakery Leadership Position

Nothing Bundt Cakes – Treasure Valley is looking for a dependable, motivated Assistant Bakery Manager to help lead day-to-day bakery operations and support our management team.

This is a hands-on leadership position. Our Assistant Manager works alongside the team while helping ensure shifts run smoothly, expectations are being met, guests receive excellent service, and the bakery stays organized, stocked, clean, and ready for business.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership, communicate well, lead by example, and recognize what needs to be done without constantly waiting for direction.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you will help with all areas of bakery operations, including:

• Lead and support the team throughout daily shifts
• Delegate tasks and follow up to ensure they are completed correctly
• Help maintain a positive, productive, and professional work environment
• Coach team members on procedures, expectations, and bakery standards
• Assist with training new and existing team members
• Help ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately
• Monitor product levels and communicate production and inventory needs
• Help maintain proper stocking, organization, cleanliness, and food-safety standards
• Assist with guest concerns and resolve issues appropriately
• Answer phones, assist guests, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
• Frost, decorate, package, and prepare cakes and other products as needed
• Support baking, dishwashing, cleaning, restocking, and other bakery tasks when needed
• Help ensure orders are accurate, complete, and ready on time
• Communicate staffing, performance, operational, and maintenance concerns to management
• Help keep the team productive during both busy and slower periods
• Step into different areas of the bakery wherever support is needed

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a position where you'll spend the entire shift in an office or only supervise other employees. Our managers are working managers.

You may be leading the shift one minute and helping frost cakes, wash dishes, stock retail items, assist a guest, or package a large order the next.

We need someone who is willing to jump in, set the pace, and help the team succeed.

Schedule & Availability

This position requires dependable and reasonably flexible availability based on bakery needs. Availability during weekends, holidays, and higher-volume periods may be required.
