Job Description

Get our movies onto the big screen

When a family walks into an AMC, Cinemark or Regal to see a movie, someone made that happen. They pitched the film to the circuit, picked the right date, got the poster and standee into the lobby, and made sure the trailer played before the right movies. At our studio, that person is you.

We are a leading independent animation studio and all-rights distributor. Since 2023, we have put 24 animated films in theaters nationwide, including wide releases on 2,000+ screens. We're a small team, so you won't be one voice among dozens. You'll be the face of our studio to the people who run America's movie theaters.

What you'll do...

Be our person in exhibition.

You'll own our relationships with bookers and theater owners, from the big circuits to independent theater groups. You'll pitch every release, negotiate the bookings, and come up with promotions and special screenings that get theaters excited to play our films. You'll also represent us at CinemaCon and other exhibitor events.

Shape how each film goes out.

Working with our leadership, marketing and finance teams, you'll help decide when each title opens and how wide. You'll bring comps and what you're hearing from exhibitors to those decisions, then track how each release performs.

Make sure every booked site is ready.

Once a theater says yes, you'll make sure it gets everything it needs, on time. That covers working with our mastering vendor on content delivery, getting one sheets and standees out, and placing trailers.

Build smarter tools as you go.

With hands-on help from our team, you'll use AI tools to set up simple systems for tracking bookings, deliveries and reporting. Routine work gets automated, so more of your time goes to relationships and promotions. You don't need an engineering background.

You might be a fit if you:

·       Love building relationships and keeping them strong

·       Can keep a lot of titles, theaters and deadlines on track without dropping anything

·       Are comfortable with box office numbers and comps

·       Write and speak clearly with exhibitors, vendors and colleagues

·       Can use AI to find cleaner, faster ways to manage routine requests and reporting

·       Have 2+ years of experience with some/all of the above

Bonus points if:

·       You already know theater bookers and circuit buyers

·       You've worked with DCP delivery or mastering vendors

·       You love family and animated movies
