Job Description
Returns Specialist Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Log returned items in database ·
Communicate with sales departments on status of returned items ·
Evaluate returned items and place in proper stock ·
Communicate with sales departments when returned items are repaired and ready to sell ·
Hold weekly meetings with Operations Manager to determine whether to repair damaged items ·
File for RA’s (Return Authorizations) to all vendors ·
Freight Claims · File claims with carriers when goods are damaged ·
Coordinate with sales departments for information ·
Set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to follow-up on each step of the claim process ·
Communicate regularly with freight carriers to follow-up on freight claim status ·
Report concealed damage to freight carriers in timely fashion ·
Coordinate with service department on cost of repairs for damaged goods ·
Communicate with sales departments when a freight claim has been credited ·
Coordinate with customers on damaged goods
Must be Highly organized · Self-motivated · Good communicator · Computer literate · Problem-solving abilities · Retain large amounts of information · Attendance/punctuality.
Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
