CNC Operator

The CNC Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and operates CNC lathes across multiple machine types. This role supports production by loading programs, making offsets, completing machine setups, monitoring operations, and verifying finished work against blueprint requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machine types.
• Load CNC programs and make offsets as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tool condition.
• Operate pre-set machines and complete full machine setups.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement tools.
• Record measurements and monitor production activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in CNC machining or CNC machine operation.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC setup.
• Experience with blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
