Material Specialist

Title: Schedule Planner I - Material Planning and Control // Material Specialist

Location: Waterloo, IA - 50703

Duration: 12 Months Contract (possible extension)

Position Details:

• 1st Shift Position.
• Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM with possible overtime.
• Note: Overtime may include extended weekday hours or weekend work.
• Candidates must be willing to work off-shift hours if needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: 4-year degree in any business-related field is highly preferred.

Experience:

• Experience in operations/material flow/production planning in manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and strong data analysis skills
• Ability to communicate professionally, both written and oral
• Open to recent graduates, though preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of work history post-graduation.
• Work Location: This position will spend 50% of the time working on the shop floor.

Interview Process:

• Interviews will be conducted onsite.; business casual dress code.
• Candidates will need metatarsal protection for the first day.

Additional Information:

• This position has the potential of driving a owned Gator on the shop floor after successful training completion.
• Some travel between Waterloo sites for meetings utilizing a personal vehicle should be expected.
• This position may drive a owned Gator inside the factory to get from the office area to a different office area in another part of the factory (all connected and indoors).
• Worker will need to successfully complete safety training to be approved to drive this.
• They will transport their computer or parts/tools.
• Other workers could ride along if they are going to the same areas due to limited number of available Gators.
• This would not be driven outside.
• May also drive their personal vehicle to other facilities within a 20 mile radius.
• Rental cars are not used for this travel.
