Group Leader - Contract to Hire, Immediate Opening

Shift of the Group Leader:
Fri-Sun 6:00pm-6:30am

Pay Rate of the Group Leader:
$35/hr

Responsibilities of the Group Leader:

• Drive daily “Stand Up” meetings for line(s) and monitor daily build schedules.
• Supervise employees to maintain steady workflow and ensure efficiency.
• Train new hires and monitor their progress according to skill set.
• Ensure cleanliness and accuracy of work-in-process in the shipping and receiving department.
• Identify resource gaps and manage strategic countermeasures.

Qualifications of the Group Leader:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume shipping environment.
• Knowledge of workmanship standards and experience with AMLs preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate employees with a background in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Good organizational and computer skills.
