We are seeking dependable, experienced Industrial Painters and Sandblasters to join our team in Burnet, TX! Candidates will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces, operating industrial paint spray guns, troubleshooting paint application equipment, and using sandblasting equipment and grinders to achieve high-quality finishes on industrial products and components.

Experience with Graco paint systems and industrial spray-painting equipment is highly desirable. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with surface preparation, industrial coatings, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting paint gun issues.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on shift
• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:30 AM–4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 4:30 PM–4:30 AM
• Full-time position
• Overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Operate industrial paint spray guns and Graco paint systems to apply coatings to metal surfaces, equipment, and fabricated components.
• Troubleshoot paint guns and spray-painting equipment to identify and resolve issues affecting paint flow, spray patterns, pressure, and coating quality.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance on paint guns, hoses, pumps, and related spray equipment.
• Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and other surface contaminants.
• Use grinders, sanders, and other power tools to prepare metal surfaces for painting and finishing.
• Clean, prepare, and inspect materials to ensure proper coating adhesion and a high-quality finish.
• Mix, handle, and apply industrial paints, primers, and protective coatings according to job specifications.
• Adjust paint gun settings and application techniques to achieve the required coating thickness, coverage, and finish.
• Inspect completed work for defects, uneven coverage, runs, and other coating imperfections.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for painting and blasting equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial painting, spray painting, sandblasting, or metal finishing preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating industrial paint spray guns and Graco paint systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot paint gun equipment and resolve common spray application issues.
• Familiarity with paint pumps, hoses, pressure settings, spray tips, and fluid delivery systems.
• Experience with grinders, sanders, abrasive blasting equipment, and other surface preparation tools.
• Knowledge of metal surface preparation, industrial coatings, and paint application techniques.
• Ability to identify coating defects and make necessary adjustments to achieve quality results.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment and wearing required PPE, including respiratory protection.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
