  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile intercompany accounts, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger balances as applicable.
  • Prepare and post recurring, adjusting, and correcting journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide explanations for fluctuations in account balances and operating expenses.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

  • Assist with audit preparation by compiling schedules, maintaining documentation, and responding to requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Review accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain financial information, investigate discrepancies, and ensure proper transaction coding.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and financial data analysis.
  • Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader accounting and finance team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms.
  • Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity, or complex accounting environment is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with analytical thinking and attention to detail.
