Job Description
The Blending Operator/Batch Mixer prepares and processes powders and dry ingredients in continuous production batches. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role weighs ingredients, operates mixing equipment, performs in-process sampling, maintains production records, and supports a safe, clean, GMP-aligned production environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare batches of powders and dry ingredients for production.
- Weigh and verify materials according to batch requirements.
- Blend materials using designated mixing equipment.
- Operate mixers throughout continuous production batches.
- Perform in-process sampling to support quality control.
- Clean and maintain mixing equipment and work areas.
- Complete accurate production records.
- Follow safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in batch mixing and blending.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of batch processing and material weighing.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience with quality control sampling.
Location: Fairfield NJ
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (OT Available)
Pay Rate: $21-$23
