Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic will service a mixed vehicle fleet, including light trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. Reporting to the shop foreman, this role performs general maintenance and repair, engine and drivetrain work, diagnostics, electrical repairs, and specialized systems and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics across a mixed fleet.
• Complete preventive maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Service and repair brake systems.
• Perform engine and drivetrain repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Inspect parts and components for serviceability.
• Document repair work accurately.
• Follow safety compliance requirements and shop procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Automotive diagnostics experience.
• Vehicle repair experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of brake systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Engine repair experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair.
