Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operator to assist with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a cherry picker to retrieve, move, and organize products stored on elevated warehouse racks while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker safely to pick and retrieve products from elevated shelves.
• Pull, pick, and move orders according to pick lists or scanner instructions.
• Use RF scanners to verify product numbers, quantities, and locations.
• Load, unload, and organize merchandise in designated warehouse areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies or damaged products.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cherry picker operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift or powered industrial truck certification, if required by the employer.
• Ability to work safely at elevated heights.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required by the position.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials according to the job's physical requirements.
• Comfort working at heights while operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Safety Requirements

• Follow all equipment operating procedures and warehouse safety rules.
• Complete required training and evaluation before operating equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use fall-protection equipment when required by the equipment manufacturer and applicable safety regulations.

Work Environment: Warehouse or distribution center.
