Lead Packer

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating shift. Work 2, Off 2, Work 3, Off 2, Work 2, Off 3

$23.13 + $1.00 Shift Differential

Training: Initial training will be completed on 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, for approximately one month

Responsibilities

·         Prepare and distribute labels, PORT tickets, WIP tickets, production orders, and specification sheets for the assigned shift

·         Coordinate daily staffing and assign packers to production lines based on established staffing requirements and production standards

·         Provide leadership, direction, and support to packing employees to maintain efficient workflow and productivity

·         Coordinate and monitor training for new packers and designated trainer, ensuring employees are properly training on procedures and expectations

·         Ensure production lines are properly cleared, organized, and prepared for setup and changeovers

·         Operate a forklift as needed and follow all applicable safety requirements

·         Demonstrate the ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications

·         Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or packing environment preferred

·         Previous lead or team-lead experience preferred

·         Ability to work a 12 hour night shift and complete required training on 1st shift

·         Forklift experience required
