Retail Shipping Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and release tasks from open retail orders for order pickers to complete.
• Route orders accurately through vendor TMS portals in accordance with customer requirements.
• Read, interpret, and apply retailer routing guides, shipping instructions, and compliance requirements.
• Process and ship retail orders accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate closely with order pickers on picking, staging, labeling, preparation, and shipment readiness.
• Assist with order picking, either alongside a team member or independently, as operational needs require.
• Provide timely order updates to the Retail Customer Service team and respond professionally to order-related inquiries.
• Identify and communicate order discrepancies, delays, routing issues, or other concerns to the appropriate teams.
• Support special projects, including ticketing, folding, labeling, boxing, and other product preparation activities.
• Maintain accurate records and complete work with strong attention to detail.
• Follow established safety, quality, customer compliance, and workplace procedures.
• Assist in other departments or operational areas as business needs require.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail order fulfillment, shipping, logistics, warehousing, or a related environment.
• Experience using retailer or vendor TMS portals.
• RFID experience.
• Familiarity with retail routing guides, labeling, ticketing, and customer compliance requirements.
• Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and organized.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to work efficiently in order-management systems, vendor portals, and related business applications.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, with proper communication etiquette.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
