Delivery assistant (Part-Time)

We are seeking a Delivery Handler to assist with delivering imported European food products to markets throughout the greater Sacramento area. This hands-on position involves working alongside a delivery driver to load, transport, unload, and stock perishable food products at customer locations.

The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, is dependable, and can provide excellent service while ensuring products are handled carefully and delivered efficiently.

Pay: $25 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday only
Start Time: 7:00 AM
End Time: Approximately 1:00 PM–3:00 PM, depending on the delivery route

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with the delivery driver each morning to prepare for the day's route.
• Assist with loading the delivery van with food products and supplies.
• Travel with the driver to customer locations throughout the greater Sacramento area.
• Load and unload food products safely and efficiently.
• Organize and place products onto pallets as needed.
• Deliver perishable imported European food products to Russian markets.
• Stock and organize products on store shelves according to customer needs.
• Handle food products carefully to help maintain product quality and prevent damage.
• Maintain an organized delivery vehicle and assist with keeping the work area clean.
• Work efficiently with the driver to complete deliveries according to the route schedule.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physical duties, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading products.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and move products throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail when handling and organizing food products.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with customers.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, stocking, or material-handling experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting at 7:00 AM.
