Project Manager - Steel Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel fabrication projects from planning through completion. This individual will coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and shop personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage multiple structural steel fabrication projects simultaneously.

· Coordinate project schedules, material procurement, fabrication, and deliveries.

· Review structural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.

· Communicate with general contractors, engineers, detailers, and production teams.

· Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

· Monitor project budgets, timelines, and production progress.

· Identify and resolve project delays or issues.

Qualifications

· 3–5+ years of project management experience, preferably in structural steel fabrication.

· Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and shop drawings.

· Understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction schedules.

· Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and customer relationships.

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tekla, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on Project Manager with structural steel fabrication experience who can effectively coordinate between customers, contractors, and shop operations to keep projects running smoothly.
