We’re seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead dedicated crews and take ownership of project delivery on Kauaʻi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily field operations, heavy equipment utilization, and multi-crew staging across heavy civil, grading, and underground utility projects.
- Coordinate foremen, subcontractors, equipment, material deliveries, and project sequencing to maintain scheduled production goals.
- Enforce OSHA, trench safety, and environmental compliance standards across all active work fronts.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure earthwork, compaction, and utility installations meet project plans, specifications, and state and county standards.
- Track and report daily labor productivity, production quantities, and field logs.
- Mentor and develop crew foremen while building a collaborative, high-performance jobsite culture.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of direct supervisory or field leadership experience in heavy civil construction, site civil, or infrastructure projects.
- Deep technical background in underground utilities, ductile iron piping and utility work within public rights-of-way, excavation, trench shoring, mass grading, and heavy equipment operations.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and build from civil construction plans, blue-line specifications, and grade stakes.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, excavation regulations, and project documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Willingness to be based full-time at job sites on Kauaʻi. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
