EHS Coordinator - Direct Hire

• Coordinate and maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, procedures, and records
• Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace observations, hazard assessments, and JHA/JSAs
• Identify workplace hazards and work with supervisors and employees to develop and track corrective actions
• Assist with workplace injury, incident, near-miss, and property damage investigations and track safety KPIs
• Coordinate and conduct safety training, including new-hire orientation and refresher training
• Maintain training records and certifications for LOTO, PITs, HazCom, PPE, and other applicable safety programs
• Support environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, audits, waste management, and corrective action planning

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS, workplace safety, or a related field required
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices required
• OSHA 30 training, safety certifications, OSHA recordkeeping experience, or audit experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, computer, and follow-through skills
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, climb stairs and ladders, wear required PPE, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely around automated packaging equipment, forklifts, and large production equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Ability to travel to Cando, ND, as needed
