Inspector Quality Control - Machine Shop

Quality Control Inspector

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in quality control/inspection
• Experience using FARO Arms and manual inspection tools
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience creating accurate inspection reports
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other manual inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts
• Operate FARO Arm and manual inspection equipment
• Verify parts against drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
• Identify and communicate quality issues
• Work with production and engineering teams to resolve inspection concerns
