  • Preparing blister packs and staging medications and pharmaceutical supplies for delivery.
  • Entering and verifying prescription information within pharmacy software.
  • Receiving, storing, and logging inventory and approved returns.
  • Monitoring expiration dates and rotating stock to prevent outdated products from being dispensed.
  • Maintaining appropriate medication storage, security, equipment, and work areas.

  • Communicating with customers, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members to answer questions and resolve prescription-related needs.
  • Supporting quality, compliance, efficiency, and HIPAA-related requirements throughout pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician License or Registration required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Strong reliability and commitment to maintaining a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for most of the workday.

Skills We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, collaborative, and able to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace. Strong candidates will also bring:

  • Experience with automated or dispensing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
  • Excellent typing and data-entry accuracy.
  • Comfort navigating pharmacy and proprietary software systems.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescription components.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of clinical terminology and its impact within pharmacy operations.

Work Environment & Culture

This is a large, closed-door pharmacy with approximately 45 employees supporting high-volume prescription fulfillment. The environment is busy, structured, and highly collaborative, with Mondays typically being the busiest day of the week.
The team is looking for someone who is engaging, well-organized, motivated, enthusiastic, collaborative, and genuinely team-oriented. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician who enjoys staying busy, working alongside a strong team, and contributing to an operation where accuracy, reliability, and patient care are essential.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and/or walking for much of the shift. Team members may occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 30 pounds and may be required to bend, reach, twist, use a step stool, or push/pull supplies as part of normal pharmacy operations.

If you are a certified Pharmacy Technician looking for a stable opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position, Lakeshore Talent would love to connect with you.
