Safety Coordinator

Position Summary

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to support company procedures and safety requirements. This role provides training on workplace safety, standard operating procedures, equipment operation, and job-specific skills while maintaining accurate training and certification records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver employee training programs
• Provide training on workplace safety, company procedures, equipment, and job-specific tasks
• Evaluate employee knowledge and competency
• Maintain training records, certifications, and required documentation
• Develop and update training materials and resources
• Coordinate training schedules with supervisors and department managers
• Support compliance requirements and continuous employee development
•  

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field preferred
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or operations environments preferred
• Previous experience in employee training or development
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with employees and management
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and training procedures preferred
• Relevant safety or equipment training certifications
• Experience training employees on the safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
