URGENT HIRING: STRUCTURAL STEEL FITTER –

Balance Staffing is hiring a Structural Steel Fitter for ACM in Turlock, CA!

Location: Turlock, CA
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM–11:30 PM
Start: ASAP
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints and plans to lay out and fit structural steel components.
• Measure, align, and position beams, stair rails, and other steel parts for assembly.
• Perform fit-up and tack welding to prepare components for final welding.
• Assist with fabrication projects for delivery and installation at job sites.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area in a large, open warehouse.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of structural steel fitting or related fabrication experience.
• Strong fit-up, layout, and measuring skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• MIG welding experience.
• Weld test required; certification is helpful but not required.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
