Director of Product Marketing (Building Materials)

Our client, a major international wholesaler/manufacture in the Building Materials Industry is adding a Director of Product Marketing position to their team.

The primary focus of this role will be Product Marketing and Innovation. The Director will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to identify market opportunities, help steer the innovation pipeline, and successfully bring new products from concept through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for new products.
• Help develop and prioritize the company's new product pipeline.
• Develop timeline of new products from concept through launch.
• Keep informed of competitive products, technologies, pricing, and market trends.
• Lead, develop, and mentor Product Engineer and Marketing Team.
• Establish the overall marketing strategy, priorities, annual plan, and budget.
• Partner closely with Sales to develop product marketing placement.
• Develop product positioning and marketing materials and sales tools.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred.
• 6+ years building materials product marketing experience.
• 5+ years progressive marketing experience.
• Demonstrated experience bringing physical products from concept through commercial launch.
• 4+ years experience developing and leading a team.
